RAOUL charity foundation — Insamlingsstiftelsen RAOUL

RAOUL Charity Foundation is an international organization based in Sweden that was named after Raoul Wallenberg, a man who saved tens of thousands of lives.

We unite people, who believe in equal opportunities for work and personal development, and also people who are ready to create an inclusive social and business environment.

Our mission is to support individuals from disadvantaged groups to obtain and retain employment and thus also contribute to making society more inclusive by developing a model for the effective application of the Supported Employment method on a global scale.
Raoul supports people with disabilities, orphans, refugees and others who, due to factors beyond their control, do not have the same opportunities as more fortunate groups in society.

Supported employment is the provision of support to people with disabilities or other disadvantaged groups to secure and maintain paid employment in the open labour market. The method is internationally recognized by organizations such as the European Union of Supported Employment. Its effectiveness is proven by the experience of such organizations as Misa (Sweden), Klapjob (Denmark), Vates (Finland).
Our values:
  • Belief in people's abilities, desires, and unlimited potential
  • Readiness to act and make efforts to achieve the goals
  • Accountability for consequences
  • Result orientation
  • Reliance on technology, expertise, proven effectiveness
  • Respect for people's choices
  • We believe that by uniting efforts, we can achieve more to solve social problems
RAOUL's know-how
is centered around social innovation, entrepreneurship, and capacity building. By leveraging these areas of expertise, RAOUL aims to empower individuals and organizations to create positive change in their communities.
Mechanism of work:
  1. Network of independent local job coaches/changemakers who provide direct support to disadvantaged people and employers
  2. Centralized management that is constantly in touch with job coaches to monitor and evaluate the progress and results of their work
  3. Job coaches receive the necessary training and have access to materials necessary for high-quality support of vulnerable groups
  4. Job coaches are paid for the results of their work

The model allows to ensure the expansion of social impact, provide support to a bigger number of disadvantaged people, and reduce the costs per beneficiary (primarily due to variable costs).

Advantages of the model:

1

Providing supported employment with highest efficiency possible (costs-results relation)

2

Superaccessible

3

Opportunity for job coaches to combine their professional skills with charitable work

4

Opportunity to help worldwide
