New Partnership in Romania: Raoul and HAO Join Forces for Inclusion

Weโ€™re pleased to announce our new partnership with Health Action Overseas Romania (HAO) โ€” a non-governmental, non-profit organization with over 25 years of experience in developing community-based social services and promoting independent living and social inclusion for people with disabilities. HAO provides local expertise, candidate training, and guidance in implementing inclusive recruitment.

This partnership is built on a shared mission to create inclusive labour markets. HAO's profound on-the-ground expertise aligns seamlessly with Raoulโ€™s focus on developing and scaling innovative tools for supported employment.

To put this shared mission into practice, our joint team is now working towards projects with major corporations present in Romania, preparing pilot projects.

As part of this process, Raoul and HAO discussed potential roles of HAO:

๐Ÿ”น Recruitment and Basic Preparation โ€” identifying and preparing candidates for employment.

๐Ÿ”น Transit Employment โ€” providing candidates with short-term work experience and job coaching before long-term placement.

๐Ÿ”น Turnkey Project โ€” managing the full employment cycle from candidate selection to post-placement support

Both teams agreed to move forward with the Turnkey Project role of HAO, which best reflects its experience and capacity to manage supported employment projects. In the course of meetings with HAO, Raoul also presented its Factor Model โ€” an open-source tool for assessing the readiness of NGOs and local markets โ€” and the teams agreed to conduct a joint assessment

โ€œFor Raoul, HAO represents a trusted and highly professional partner. As a member of the Association for Supported Employment Europe (formerly the European Union of Supported Employment), HAO brings valuable expertise and a shared commitment to quality and evidence-based approaches in building inclusive labour markets.โ€ โ€” Mikhail Krivonos, International partner, Raoul Foundation
